Dear tumblr Editor,
I would like to submit my book idea, “Esmeralda, Girl on the Go!” For The Great tumblr Book Search.
The reader will see the world through the eyes of Esmeralda, or as I call her Esmie for short. They will follow, and nearly participate, with Esmie as she travels through a typical day, exploring the world around her. You see Esmeralda is no ordinary little girl. Oh no! She’s not content to sit back and watch the world go by, she wants to get out and explore it! Whether it’s her hometown of Seattle, or elsewhere. (She’s planning a trip to Los Angeles in March!) Don’t confuse her with a garden gnome. Esmie’s just not content to smile and say cheese. She’s aiming to make friends and shake things up a little! (Which she does on a pretty regular basis.)
You might be saying to yourself, “Where does this little girl get such chutzpah!”
Excellent question! Well, she’s not alone in the world. She has the anchor of me, her unbiased, tastefully dressed, humble mother Angela. Her hands-on, distinguished, at times distant and sexually mystifying father Mitch. Her mildly attractive (that’s with make-up and a spray tan) spinster Aunt Sharon. Her troubled, and brooding Uncle Len. (Mitch’s family, obviously.) Well, and so many friends, co-workers and family it’s hard to remember them all. But if you allow me I’ll be sure to introduce you to every one!
Thank-you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Angela Patterson
